REVISE is a U.S. Army SBIR effort. Sustaining legacy and obsolete hardware often means re-creating technical data that no longer exists. REVISE is an integrated hardware-and-software platform for digitizing physical systems — generating visual-rich repair instructions, reconstructing technical data, and creating digital twins for sustainment and obsolescence mitigation.

Project Description
REVISE centers on dual six-axis robotic arms positioned around a shared, calibrated work area, with swappable end-effectors for imaging, 3D scanning, and electrical probing and manipulation. A primary target is printed circuit boards, where AI-driven imaging and dual-arm robotics generate schematics, bills of materials, and digital twins.
Dual-Use Applicability
The platform is being matured toward a software-as-a-service offering with applicability across aerospace and defense MRO, specialty and legacy automotive restoration, heavy-equipment maintenance, and energy infrastructure — anywhere reverse engineering and technical-data reconstruction relieve sustainment bottlenecks.
